The group has witnessed four developing stages:1983 is the initial stage. The group is only a less than 200㎡ workshop, affiliated to a collective factory then called Chao Yang Craftwork Knives and Scissors Factory, producing the carbon-steel kitchen knives with only 8 employees and less than 20,000RMB capitals.
1988 saw its disengage from the collective factory, and setting up of Jiangcheng Xiang Yang Home Knives Factory, which had become the formal private enterprise that has an industrial area of 2000㎡and employee of more than 50 workers. The production & sales amount of the year increased to more than 50,000 RMB.
1997 witnessed the establishment of the modern company Yangjiang Shi Ba Zi Kitchen Ware Manufacturing Co., Ltd, which ushered in a rapid development. Meantime the employees increased to 200 and the volume of productions and sales reached 2,500,000 RMB.
2002 is the founding year of the Yangjiang SHIBAZI Group Co., Ltd., with a rapid all-round exploitation and development. The first technical innovation in 1993 has for the first time had the traditional welding cutting tools improve into those with knife-bodies and handles jointed together, which introduced the first revolution of cutting instruments in China.The second technical reformation was in 1995. Using the cutting instruments of Japan and West Germany knives as reference, the Group innovated the various new designs and opened up a scale of products, combining the Chinese characteristics, and Japanese-style utility home kitchen knives; the Group led to the various comprehensive knives products market instead of the single product extension.
The third revolution was the development and promotion of complete set knives. Benefited from the experience of the foreign countries, the company has designed and approved series of complete set knives with clear appearances which involved the Humanity Idea and Chinese characteristics.
The fourth reformation first brought in the army-use materials and the internationally popular materials like stainless steel, compound steel.
The fifth reformation was to establish precision steel factory, which aimed at the global market. This reformation has also introduced the model of making knives as “steel-making, knife-making and the techniques”.
By the appropriate management of industry & commercial cooperation, economic reciprocal, the group developed rapidly and got the affirmation of related departments and was recognized by the society.
